We’ve expanded our European network even further
London Stansted is expanding its European network even further in 2025, offering you exciting new routes to destinations in France, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, and Germany.
New routes have been designed to reflect the aspirations of a wider range of passengers who are looking for adventures off the beaten track. They include:
In June, BA will launch a new service to the Dordogne in south-west France with one flight per week in each direction (on Saturdays) between London Stansted and Bergerac airports.
Bergerac is a medieval town that sits on the River Dordogne in Aquitaine. Expect glorious green landscapes, vineyards that run for miles, and old town charm. As you walk down the cobbled streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses, you’ll find an array of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Tickets start from £117 one-way and the flight will take just over 90 minutes.
Transavia will make its debut at London Stansted in April with a service to Rotterdam. This major port city in the south of Holland is celebrated for its innovative architecture, rich cultural scene, and lively atmosphere.
The Dutch carrier will initially operate four flights a week, increasing to five flights during peak summer, to the city’s Rotterdam The Hague Airport. One-way fares start at £37. This service will also allow passengers to transfer onto the airline's extensive route network that connects Rotterdam with 90 destinations across Europe and beyond, including Rome, Cyprus, and Dubai.
Turkish carrier SunExpress will introduce a route to Kayseri in July. This ancient Turkish city lies on the eastern edge of Cappadocia and is the perfect starting point for exploring the rest of this fascinating region.
Thanks to its unique geological highlights, Cappadocia is becoming an increasingly popular destination for a host of activities from hiking in the stunning Göreme National Park, to paragliding in Mount Ali, hot air ballooning, and water rafting on the Zamantı River. But many visitors fly into Kayseri to access the Erciyes mountain, one of the best ski resorts in Turkey, and just a 30-minute drive from the airport.
Pula is ranked as one of Croatia’s largest and most historically rich cities. A haven for both culture vultures and sun-lovers alike, boasting sunny weather, coastal scenery and a wealth of ancient Roman architecture. Known as ‘the heart of the fjords’, Bergen might have a rainier climate than Pula, but its charming cobbled streets, chocolate-box houses, and toasty pubs make up for it.
London Stansted’s largest airline, with over 150 destinations, will be resuming flights to Lübeck, Germany, starting in summer 2025. This historic port city in northern Germany is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, charming canals, and world-famous marzipan.
From April, Ryanair will also launch new routes to Münster, Germany, and then starting in March, it’ll begin a service to Clermont-Ferrand, France. The return of Clermont marks the revival of this charming French destination at Stansted, last offered in 2019.
