Charity Drive-In Cinema at London Stansted Airport

Welcome to our brand-new charity drive-in cinema event at London Stansted Airport! This December we're bringing you a fantastic film list, including some family favourites and Christmas classics, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your very own car. Running from Friday 1st December - Sunday 10th December, our drive-in cinema is a fun way to get in the festive spirit, and there'll be food trucks and popcorn machines on-site for the ultimate cinema experience.

It’s for an amazing cause, too. We’re very proud to say that 100% of the money raised from ticket sales will be donated to our three charity partners, Medcare, Magic Breakfast, and The Children’s Society, who are all doing incredible work to provide food, access to healthcare and wellbeing support to children in need. All of the films will be shown at London Stansted Airport’s JetParks car park.

The postcode is CM24 8QE, but we advise you to follow the signage to JetParks car park - extra signage will be provided at the car park entrance.

London Stansted Airport is part of Manchester Airport Group (MAG), and 100% of the money raised will go to MAG’s charity partners:

  • Medcare operates the Wellspring Children’s Medical Centre, which serves half a million children in Uganda who live below the poverty line, and who otherwise wouldn’t have access to any healthcare.

  • Magic Breakfast provides 6,000 children across the UK with free, nutritious breakfast food every school day.

  • The Children’s Society supports the most vulnerable children in the UK facing serious life challenges, such as child poverty and those struggling with their mental health.

Yes, tickets need to be booked in advance, which you can do on this webpage.

A ticket costs £35 per vehicle (max of 5 people) - and 100% of this will go to our charity partners.

Only a limited number of tickets will be sold for each event, so your vehicle won’t be too far away from the screen. Marshalls will be on hand to position vehicles, making sure everyone gets a clear view of the screen however, larger vehicles will be positioned towards the side and the back. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

You'll be provided with your own personal speaker when you arrive, which will stay in your vehicle for the duration of the film.

The car park will be open 1 hour before the film is due to start. Please aim to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled film time.

Of course! But it's important that they have a responsible adult with them at all times.

We also ask you to please follow the age rating guidance for the film if you're bringing children. We reserve the right not to admit any children believed to be under the age rating for the film.

We will have a food truck and popcorn machine on-site. Allergies will be catered for where possible.

There will also be portaloos, including one disabled access portaloo.

Marshalls will be on-site for any further information.

We would encourage guests to wrap up warm and leave your engine off for the duration of the film. However, if you need to turn your engine on intermittently for any reason, then of course this is fine - just remember to keep your headlights off and your vehicle stationary throughout.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds if you can no longer attend. We will only provide refunds if the film showing is cancelled.

The drive-in cinema can continue in bad weather, except for extreme high winds or heavy snow fall. If this is forecast, we'll try to make a decision about film showings as soon as possible, and will reschedule if possible.

If we have to cancel your show for any reason, you'll be given the option of a full refund or to rebook a different showing. Where possible, we'll try to reschedule your show at a later date.

Don't worry - you won't be going anywhere! The bus transfer information is just in place for passengers using the JetParks car park when they're flying from London Stansted Airport. It doesn't apply to anyone coming to JetParks for the drive-in cinema experience.
